CENTRIC is a standing lamp collection based on a structural study of repetitive centralized modularity. It has been created as an experiment on modular shape creation, based purely on geometry and mathematics. By manipulating the size and form of the modules I created five closed objects, which have a two-dimensional pattern as well as a three-dimensional ornate appearance. Each object demonstrates a different aspect of the spatial form that can be created and what kind of pattern can be defined by the application of a few chosen principles.

The Centric collection is constructed from self-made laminate, which is created from natural cotton fabric and strong plastic net. The cotton gives the pieces a warm appearance, while the plastic net provides the sturdiness required for easy assembling.
